Shannon Meehan

Shannon Meehan is a humanitarian and international development expert working with organizations to deliver high quality programs for their beneficiaries and donors. She has been working internationally for more than 30 years. She has also designed and implemented gender-based violence (GBV) projects, trainings and advocacy campaigns, with an emphasis on the relationship between GBV and gender equality and human rights.

Shannon’s consulting focuses on strengthening an organization’s management and work environments to be efficient, practical, diverse and deliver high quality programs. She draws on her extensive field experience to train and advise organizations in a variety of areas including: developing standard accounting and financial procedures according to company, donor and audit regulations; technical and cost proposal development, operational policies, procedures and systems; sub-award evaluation; auditing; human resources and personnel management; legal registration and compliance in foreign countries.

Shannon trains and coaches in both English and French. Her consulting work offers great rewards in empowering organizations and their employees to find their own solutions and reach greater levels of operational integrity and performance.
